Uganda mission trips with Sole Hope
If you are looking for a mission trip to Uganda or a way to serve in Africa, a Sole Hope trip gives you a front row seat to what God is doing through simple, practical care. Many children in Uganda live with painful jigger infestations because they do not have safe shoes or access to basic foot care.
Sole Hope serves these children through footwashing, medical treatment, and protective shoes crafted by local artisans. When you join a short term mission trip with Sole Hope, you help children heal, you support local jobs, and you experience Uganda up close.
On this trip you are not a spectator. You are part of the story God is writing in Uganda.
What you will experience in Uganda
Visit the Hope Center, Clinic, and Shoemaking Workshop
Meet the Sole Hope team, tour the spaces where healing happens, and see how every pair of shoes is crafted with care. You will hear stories from staff who serve children every day.
Support footwashing and mobile medical clinics
Travel to nearby villages with our Ugandan team. You will help wash feet, support jigger removal, and place protective shoes on children who have been waiting for relief. This is hands on, practical service on a medical style mission trip in Uganda.
Explore Jinja and the Nile
Experience daily life in one of Uganda’s most beautiful regions. Walk local markets, visit the Source of the Nile, and enjoy the rhythm and hospitality of Jinja.
Choose your adventure time
Your group can add optional activities like rafting, sunset cruises, ziplining, quad biking, or bungee jumping. These experiences give you space to enjoy the landscape and build deeper relationships with your team.
Walk the red dirt roads
Spend time in communities, listen to stories, and see the impact of simple, consistent care. Many travelers say this trip reshapes how they see mission work in Africa.
