When you host a Shoe Party, your group cuts real denim components that are assembled in Uganda into protective shoes for children vulnerable to jiggers, a painful sand flea infection that can keep kids from walking, learning, and living freely.

What You Provide

• Old denim jeans
• Sharp scissors
• Sharpies or markers
• Safety pins
• Thin plastic or sturdy material for tracing

One pair of adult jeans creates approximately four to five pairs of shoes.

Important to Know

The Shoe Party Experience is $95.

That covers two complete pairs of shoes, cut by your group, assembled in Uganda, and placed on the feet of children who need protection.

Because protection keeps healing from being undone.

For each additional pair your group creates, we invite you to sponsor it for $35.

That sponsorship helps ensure each pair is finished and delivered. It also supports the work that makes prevention possible:

• Jigger removal and medical care
• Health and hygiene education
• Community outreach
• Fair wages for Ugandan shoemakers and tailors
• Essential supplies for our teams

Most gatherings last 60 to 90 minutes.

This experience works well across ages. All you need is a few tables and space to gather.

Host on your own timeline. You’ll have ongoing access to the materials.

After you ship your completed pieces, they are assembled by local shoemakers and placed on children’s feet through Sole Hope clinics and partners.

More denim cut means more shoes finished.
More shoes finished means more children protected.

A Greener Approach to Giving

Sole Hope shoes are crafted from 98 percent upcycled materials. Old denim becomes uppers. Recycled car tires become durable soles. This reduces waste and lowers our footprint while protecting children in Uganda. More than 270,000 pairs have already been placed on feet that needed relief.
